This Privacy Policy explains how Experts Edge ('Experts Edge', 'we', 'us') collects, uses, holds and discloses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information we collect

We may collect your name, firm, contact details, and information you provide about a matter or expert profile. We do not ask you to upload privileged or confidential material before a formal engagement is in place.

2. How we use it

To operate the platform, match and introduce experts, respond to requests, provide support, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Disclosure

We may disclose information to experts you ask to engage, and to service providers who help us operate the platform, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

4. Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure.

5. Access & correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us at hello@expertsedge.au.

6. Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-first, first-party analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. With your consent, we record usage events (pages viewed, features used), your device category, the referring site and campaign parameters, using a first-party identifier stored in your browser for up to 25 months. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and analytics records never include the content of any enquiry. You can decline analytics in the consent banner and the site works identically. If we later add Google Analytics, we will disclose it here before it is enabled. Service records, such as enquiries you submit, are kept as part of providing the service.
